Toby Lambert in 1h 08m 03s, from Winchester & District AC.
The 1st Female for the second time was Wendy Jones 1h 18m 33s from
Cirencester AC.
This years race limit is 1600. Entry fee is £2 extra on the day, regret that there will be no entries on the day if the race limit is met. Keep an eye on this website for accurate information! This race is Ideal for families and children, its a fast flat course, only
one lap of Paignton Green. The entry desk is located at the Flag Ship pubic
house on the sea front and closes at 9:30am on race day, so please turn up
early!
If you have already entered in advance, please collect your race
number at the Fun Run entry desk on the morning of the race before 9:30am.

people affected by cancer; we provide practical, medical, emotional and
financial support and push for better cancer care.

Rowcroft provides invaluable support and care to
people in South Devon suffering from a life limiting illness, ranging
from cancer to Motor Neurone Disease.
Every year we support and care for over 1000 patients and their
families, both in the hospice itself, the day centre and in the
community. All our services are totally free of charge.

This race is situated in the heart of glorious South Devon, the 2 lap traffic free course starting from Paignton Seafront then heading along the coastline towards Torquay and back, for the 13.1 miles. Passing palm tree lined promenades, sub-tropical gardens, wonderful sandy beaches with breathtaking coastal views of Torbay, turning back by Torquay’s glitzy marina. Click here to view the course
The race entry fee is the same as last year at £16 affiliated or £18 unaffiliated, you can download our entry form, print it, and send it to us in the post with your cheque or you can enter online via the Sport Systems website using your debit or credit card. Also this year we will be using Electronic Race Timing via a chip in your race Number to record your race result. It’s literally a disposable Chip ‘n’ Number all in one! Click here to learn about our chip timing system.
This year £400 will be awarded to the race winner and cash prizes will be given to the first 5 Men and first 5 Ladies, see 2008 prize list value on (results page), plus prizes in all age categories from 17 years. There were 65 prize winners in the 2007 half marathon. Spot Prizes will be awarded. Total prize list is worth £3000 for the 2008 event.
