Introducing the Torbay Athletic Club Trophy
Local Torbay residents will be able to take part in an extra challenge as part of the Ocean Healthcare Torbay Half Marathon and 10k. Anyone with a Torbay postcode will be entered into a seperate challenge, where the fastest male and female athlete to cross the finish line will be awarded with the Torbay Athletic Club Trophy.
How do I enter, do I need to be part of a club?
You won’t need to do anything special to enter this challenge, everyone with a Torbay postcode will be automatically entered. You also do not need to be affiliated to any running club to take part or be eligible to win this trophy.
Why is it called the Torbay Athletic Club Trophy?
In recognition of the original organisers of the Torbay Half Marathon, we have introduced this Trophy to pay homage to the amazing work they have done over the years. This challenge aims to help showcase and celebrate the amazing runners of the Torbay community.
Prizes
Each winner will receive a trophy, plus a memento as a permanent keepsake for their achievement. They will also receive free entry into the annual Torbay Half Marathon.
