Volunteers Needed
We are seeking Event Volunteers for the Torbay Half Marathon and Torbay 10k taking place on Sunday 29th September 2024. We will have a multitude of Event Volunteer roles available, including the following:
The role of event marshals will include the following:
• Signposting Athletes and providing directions and/or instructions.
• Observing key points of the route.
• Health & Safety observations and reporting.
• Championing the athletes providing encouragement.
The skills that make a great volunteer:
Positive attitude, confident, energetic and observant people make great marshals. All volunteers will receive a goody bag and free place into future events.
ROUTE MARSHALS
Along the route instructing athletes.
EVENT DAY SETUP
Putting up banners & flags.
RACE START / FINISH
Helping to hand out medals & water.
