Entrants to the Ocean Healthcare Torbay Half Marathon and 10k will have an extra incentive to make a weekend of it on the English Riviera this autumn as the Ibis Styles Paignton andMercure Paignton have been announced as the event’s official accommodation partner. 

 

The events, which will be staged on Sunday 29th September, will showcase the spectacular South Devon coastline along the duration of the fully traffic-free route. Participants will take in the iconic seaside town of Torquay before finishing by the sea on Paignton promenade.

 

Part of the wider AccorHotels group, the largest hospitality company in Europe, both hotels will offer outstanding accommodation to participants and their families. Each hotel has an unenviable seaside location just metres from the event start and finish area and offers perfect access to the wider English Riviera.

 

As part of a joint initiative, the Ibis and Mercure Paignton will offer event participants a unique 15% discount as part of their race entry.

The Ocean Healthcare Torbay Half Marathon and 10k is the newest addition to the Taurus Events portfolio and offers runners of all abilities the opportunity to take part in an event with a stunning seaside location. Finishers will be rewarded with a specially designed medal and the chance to experience some of the South West’s finest food and produce in the event village.
